iNEMI Members release position statement on the definition of “Low Halogen” for Electronic Products
2009-07-01. The electronics organisation iNEMI has released a statement which defines the maximum levels of chlorinated and brominated flame retardants in electronic materials (0.09% bromine or chlorine in printed circuit boards, 0.1% in other plastic materials). The following companies support the iNEMI statement: Cisco, Dell Inc., Doosan Corporation, HP, Intel Corporation, Lenovo, Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, Senju Comtek Corp., Sun Microsystems Inc., and Tyco Electronics Ltd.
