Use of Flame Retardants

Flame retardants are extremely essential

  • Flame retardants minimize the risk of fires starting and fires spreading.
  • They are proven to save lives and protect property and are therefore an essential part of fire protection.
  • The safe application of plastics in our modern society would not be feasible without the use of flame retardants.
  • Their "side effects" have to be taken into account in a balanced manner.
